Chillax

Sundays are a very peaceful day. Amine & I went for a short run in the morning, perfect temps about 55-60 degrees.  Then it was hammam time again, one week down already, le temps fuit! Sunday lunch was amazing (I was also starving after the run and the steam/scrub). We started with salads: tomato, cuke, cabbage/lettuce, lemon, a bowl of hot boiled potatoes with either cumin or coriander, crusty bread and eggplant dip (and of course olives), then they brought over a chicken tagine with orange and sauce, use more crusty bread and fingers to eat it.  So good! Followed by some of the best tangerines and oranges I’ve ever tasted (sorry Floridians!)

They are very civilized here and have ‘une sieste’ after lunch.  I was ready! Then it was time to do my homework, I had some journal entries to do along with a 2-3 page paper to write on “How much grammar, if any, should one teach in a TESOL class”, to include 1) my experience learning a foreign language, 2) a particular method called ‘Dogme’ and 3) another method of our choosing to teach grammar. And it had to be hand written!
