Well, I'm closer to having wifi & being able to post pictures.
Three days into my class & it's going very well. We're doing a massive review of English grammar, which is badly needed (I know all the terms in French, but not in English, what IS the past perfect progressive...oy vey!)
We take a 'café' break at 10:30. I have coffee with milk, but it's very different; they heat a glass of milk (yes, tea & coffee are served in glasses) until it's very hot, then you stir in 'Nescafe' (instant coffee) and add sugar. It's REALLY rich & good.
Yesterday was my birthday and my classmates & host/teacher took me out for a celebratory drink, which was fun. Morocco is very much a Muslim country and alcohol consumption is not permitted in Islam and is quite frowned upon ingeneral. They have evidently loosened up a lot, the grocery store I was in the other day sold liquor, there are also some hotels for 'westerners' & less strict locals where drinks are served.
It rained quite a lot yesterday, but today was gorgeous, probably high 70s, sunny, soft air. I went for a couple short walks in my neighborhood, need to figure out my way around, especially since there are NO street signs. Wish me luck!
